About Wear444
We started Wear444 because good watches cost too much.
Not the watches themselves — the pricing. Movements like the Seiko NH35 power respected microbrand watches that sell for $300–$800, and the same sapphire crystals and ceramic bezels are made by independent watchmakers in Asia for far less. The real difference is often the brand story and the marketing budget.
We're based in Surrey, British Columbia, and we started Wear444 to bring the best of that scene to Canada and the world at prices that make sense. We source from independent watch makers — including Steeldive, PAGANI DESIGN, San Martin, Thorn, BERNY and Watchdives — and list every spec plainly so you know what you're buying.
What we believe
- Real automatic movements — our automatics run proven calibers such as Seiko NH35/NH34/NH36, Miyota 8215/9100 and PT5000. The movement is listed on each product page.
- Sapphire on most models — most of our watches use scratch-resistant sapphire crystal (9 on the Mohs scale). We list the crystal type, and a few budget quartz pieces use mineral glass.
- Real specs, honest prices — movement, crystal, water resistance and case size, without vague marketing language.
- 1-year warranty on manufacturing defects — if something goes wrong within a year, contact us and we'll make it right.
